H.A.L.O. No Kill Rescue
H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue was founded with the goal of providing a NO-KILL safe refuge for abused and abandoned animals in Indian River County Florida. H.A.L.O.’s mission is to foster a community without homeless pets, and end the practice of killing companion animals. H.A.L.O. has advocated for its community’s pets for over a decade, paving the road for no-kill rescue, and reducing euthanasia by 92 percent!
Good Dogg Beverage stands behind H.A.L.O.’s mission and we are proud to support their efforts. We actively participate with H.A.L.O. in their fundraisers and events to ensure that animals are no longer needlessly killed in our community. Since we believe that all dogs are good dogs, we are committed to giving back and helping those who cannot help themselves.
Good Dogg Beverage has made a difference in the lives of dogs through covering medical expenses, ensuring that rescue dogs are properly taken care of, and by providing a loving home for those who need it the most. We believe that all dogs deserve a chance at life and are proud to support H.A.L.O. in their efforts to make that happen!
Romeo, a 4-year-old pit bull mix, was discovered on the side of the road in July and brought to H.A.L.O. He was an emaciated homeless dog that couldn’t utilize his back left leg due to a major fracture. His paws were burned and swollen, and he had fleas all over him. Romeo was urinating blood as well.
Romeo had substantial heartworms, which made the surgery highly dangerous, according to the veterinarian. H.A.L.O. opted to proceed with the surgery in the hopes of saving his life, due to donations from Good Dogg and an excellent medical team.
Romeo’s surgery was miraculously successful, and he not only survived, but he is thriving! Romeo made a full recovery, and is currently up for adoption!
We are beyond grateful to be a part of Romeo’s journey and can’t wait to see what his future holds! Good Dogg and H.A.L.O. are also excited to see more fairytale story endings like this through the partnership.
